The Elmvale Minor Hockey Association U7 Grey team is skating through a fun and exciting season, thanks in large part to the support of their generous sponsor, Tim Hortons.
The young players, part of EMHA thriving U7 program, have been developing their skills each week with enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. The striking jerseys players wear with pride are made possible through Tim Hortons ongoing commitment to youth sports in the Elmvale community.
This season, the U7 Grey team has enjoyed friendly matchups against neighbouring centres, including Coldwater and Oro-Medonte. These games have provided valuable experience while allowing the players to build confidence and sportsmanship as they take on local competition.
While we have many skilled players with previous experience, several athletes on the Grey team are brand new to hockey, stepping onto the ice for the very first time this year. Thanks to the dedication and steady guidance of parent volunteer coaches Brandon, Mike, Ryan, and Jody, these young skaters are learning, growing, and improving every week. Their coaches encouragement has created a positive environment where every child can thrive, regardless of experience.
The players continue to build their skating, passing, and teamwork skills, while also making friendships and memories that will reach far beyond the season. Families and coaches alike are grateful for the opportunities made possible through sponsorship.
