Mighty Molars finish off a busy hockey week with a win on the road
The Novice
Molars travelled to Shelburne on Saturday, to wrap up their busy first part of
the schedule, which saw them play 4 games in 8 days, 3 of them on the road away
from the Coyote den.
The kids
showed that their legs and minds were still fresh, by playing hard and to the
best of their abilities, defeating the Wolves 7-2.
Kaiden Ritchie had another strong game in net turning away and smothering pucks all game long. Robbie Bolland played a stellar defensive game, and was awarded the game puck for his big poke checks, hustle and keen defensive positioning. Garreth Sturgess, Shayne Ogilvie and Cayden Maurice accounted for the Coyotes goals. The Molars are going to take the next few days and rest up, before they hit the ice again next Friday for practice in preparation for Saturday’s game against the Oro Thunder at home.
