Novice LL1 Mighty Molars Continue To Drive
If there was a team championship for hard work, dedication, focus and drive, Novice LL1 would be the hands down uncontested victor.

Since our last team update, there have been numerous team and personal accomplishments, successes, lessons and achievements.

The team continues to grow having fun in the dressing room, talking hockey on the bench and playing their hearts out on the ice.

Since our visit to Port Carling, the kids have gone 3-0, defeating Penetang #1, Shelburne and Midland #1.  Some key accomplishments included #31 Kaden recording his first ever shutout and #9 Nolan scoring his first ever goal.

Other highlights from the kids include:

#2 Robbie showing he's a versatile two way player who excels at either forward or defence
#3 Danielle constantly protecting our house, minimizing scoring chances for our opposition
#7 Owen playing some of the best man coverage in our end and always digging hard for pucks in the corners
#8 Gillian has show pressing offences how hard it is to get the puck past her on the blue line
#10 Shayne's knowledge and awareness of being in position has helped the team to clear pucks and keep it deep
#11 Cayden hustle and work effort shuts down opposing centermen and rejoins the offence play very quickly
#14 Josh has mastered the technique to draw players towards him opening up our other players for a sweet pass
#15 Owen has embraced the team 1st philosophy exploding with 8 assists in the past three games
#17 Garreth continues to record goals and cover the entire ice breaking up play after play

We have seen some very talented players as our opposition, but collectively as a team we haven't seen any others who have the heart and determination that Novice LL1 has displayed.

We have four games left in the season versus: Oro 2, Stayner, Penetang 1 and Midland 1, where there is no doubt that the kids will continue to play hard and prepare for the upcoming playoffs.

On behalf of the coaching staff, we want to say how proud we are off all the little hockey players that wear the Coyote on their chest and hearts on their sleeves representing Elmvale Minor Hockey.
