Teamwork Pays Off For Legion Tyke #1
After a full week off of game action after the Simcoe Tournament, Tyke #1 was back on the ice on Sunday as they welcomed Oro #2 to the Coyote Den.  Armed with a commitment to positional play, and sharing the puck Tyke #1 was able to walk away with a 9-2 win, with 7 different players lighting the lamp.

Cameron got the call in net, and although not very busy, he still had the opportunity to make some saves including a double pad stack on a breakaway.  Cameron picks up his 1st win in his 1st attempt at playing net.

On the offensive side of the ledger, Ty, Trenton(2), Rylan(2), Tyler, Nathan, Quintin, and Carlos all scored for Elmvale.  For Carlos it was his 1st of the season, and career.  Carlos proved that working hard and getting to right spot on the ice will yield dividends as he went to the net and was rewarded when he pounced on and pounded home a rebound from the top of the crease.  All 10 players picked up at least 1 point, and assists went to Jackson, Benjamin, and Nikolas.

Next weekend is a busy and tough one, with 2 games set against 2 very good squads.  On Saturday Legion Tyke #1 hosts Tyke #2, then on Sunday Tyke #1 travels to Coldwater to take on Coldwater #1.
