FabriZone Tyke #2 Improves to 13-2!
FabriZone Tyke #2 wins 5 in a row this past month to improve to 13-2 overall!

With 5 games this past month the boys applied what they have been working on in practice and put together some great hockey.

The last game of January gave us our first Elmvale vs Elmvale tilt against Tyke #4 and the kids from both teams didn't disappoint with some great end to end hockey.  Luke worked hard helping the team with 2 goals and 2 assists.  First ever Tyke game for AP player Nicholas was awesome contributing with  4 assists! Brother Riley helped out with 3 assists as well.  Carter played great contributing with a goal and an assist.  Isaac earned himself the Super Sport Player of The Game with 4 goals and great play at both ends of the rink.

The next 2 games would be just as exciting with a 3-1 victory over Penetang and a 5-4 win against Tyke #3.  Anthony was the clear cut choice for Player of The Game against Penetang with 3 assists having his best game of the year. Tyke #3 played some great hockey keeping us pinned in our end and Ollie had to stand tall in net making save after save for us earning himself the Super Sport Player of The Game!

A high scoring affair in Coldwater on Feb. 10 saw everyone on the game sheet.  Isaac, Jaxson and Kyle tickled the twine.  Assists went to Jake with 3, Ollie with 2, Riley with 2, Wyatt and Nicholas with 1 each.  Kyle added 2 assists to his 2 goals earning the Super Sport Player of The Game award!

This past weekend was an amazing game with another Coyote vs Coyote tilt.  Tyke #1 came out quick and we found ourselves down 2-0 at the end of the first.  With 2 goals of our own in the second it would come down to the final 10 minutes.  Both teams took it up a notch and battled hard showing great teamwork and a desire to compete until the final buzzer.  Leading 4-3 with 2 minutes left, a final push from Tyke #1 nearly tied the game but Kyle shut the door in net and gave us the victory.  Player of The Game Isaac showed some great speed getting back and helping out defensively limiting the scoring chances for Tyke #1.  I can't say enough how proud I am of all the kids and how they played!! Way to go guys!!
