The Orr Lake Golf Club Peewee LL#1's season continues to improve as the team gels and puts forward a solid team effort. That teamwork and dedication is starting to show as the team notched a couple wins to improve their position in the standings.
On November 4th we faced Midland 1 at home and the game ended in a tie 2-2. Tyler Scott scored both goals assisted by Brendan Scott.
November 10th we were visitors in Oro facing team #1 and we lost this game 5-2. Goals were scored by Cole Findlay, assisted by Brendan and Carter Luoma and Hayden Schepers, assisted by Josh Lemcke and Josh Rossi.
The team continues to practice hard and notched two consecutive wins after this tie and loss.
November 14th we faced Oro #2 on home ice and won 4-1. Goals were scored by Carter, Brendan and Tyler (2). Assisted by Josh L, Cole, Hayden and Brendan.
On Sunday, November 18th we played Wasaga Beach at home and took the win 7-2. Tyler notched a hat trick in the first period with assists by Josh L, Justin Gautreau, Brendan and Eric Aldersey. Period 3 saw goals from Cole (2), Brendan and Eric. Assists went to Josh L, Drake Jonkman, Brendan, Tyler and Hayden. Great passing and team play by Dillon Jenkins. Great defensive plays were made by Drake, Emily, Billy McLeod, Alden Barrington and Justin.
The boys and Emily Racco (our defence-girl), are working hard as a team and continuing to improve and play better as a team with each game they play.
Goalie Nicky Juffermans continues to awe and amaze with some fantastic saves in each game. Keep up the great work Nicky.
