The Elmvale Hapamp Bantam Rep Team ended their regular season with a record of 12-6-2 placing them behind only Collingwood and Peneteng  in the Georgian Bay Loop.  After a successful regular season the Bantam Rep Coyotes were looking to carry their success forward into the OMHA Playdowns.

The first round of OMHA playdowns had the Elmvale Coyotes facing the Oro Thunder Bantam Rep Team.  In this best  3 out of 5 series the Elmvale Coyotes started the series strong and took game 1 by a score of 10-0.  Game 2 once again had the Hapamp Bantam Rep Coyotes taking an early lead and never looking back with the final score being 11-0.  With the Oro Thunder facing elimination in game 3 they came out strong and battled hard but the Elmvale Coyotes once again were able to take the victory and the series with an 8-1 win.  The forwards consisting of Derek Sweeney, Matt  Clarke, Owen King, Nevin King, Troy Belisle, Alex Sweeney, Jordan Agar , Andrew Priest and Brock KleinGebbinck moved the puck well and forechecked hard generating several scoring opportunities while the defence group of Tye King, Charlie Fleiger, Aidan McKinstry, Colin Kitching, Jake Lalonde and Braeden Allen played solid team defence stopping any Oro Thunder player from approaching the net  and making sure goaltender Kaidan Maw had a clear view of any shot. The Hapamp Bantam Rep Team will now face-off against the Penetang Flames in there next OMHA playdown action.  Check the website elmvaleminorhockey.ca for game times.
