Hardship Acres Bantam AE team starting to come together
The 2015/16 Hardship Acres Bantam AE team has gotten of to a slow start to this point of the regular season but the teams effort on the ice has not been reflected in the win loss column as of yet. The team is starting to gel on the ice as many of the players it is their first season playing together, and you can see they getting more comfortable with one another with every shift they take.
Tyler Johnston has been superb in net supported by our defense pairings of Tanner Corriveau and Matt Veenstra, Blake Corley and Robbie Tolles. Our wingers Drake Jonkman, Luke Dutton, Issak McGinnis, Randy Thompson, Ray Haring and Sam Birch are playing an aggressive attack the puck style of offense that is sure to pay off on the scoreboard in the coming games. At centre with CJ Beltrane and Carter Crowder we have a speed that is proving hard for opposing defenders to handle. The boys have two more league games this coming week before we travel to Tillsonburg for our first tournament of the season. If we can continue to improve as rapidly as we have to this point of the season I think you will see the boys start adding check marks to the win column very soon.
