Online Registration Now Open
Welcome to the 2020/2021 Hockey Season!

Elmvale Minor Hockey Association(EMHA) has now opened online registration for the 2020-2021 hockey season!

All players who are interested in playing with EMHA in the 2020-2021 season need to register online (using the link below).  At this point, we can not say when the season will start due to the Covid-19 restrictions, but we are hopeful that the season will start close to the normal time in September.  We will update everyone once we get updates from Hockey Canada and OMHA.

2020-21 Registration Fees
Preschool (born 2016) – 1 day program $250
U7 - Initiation Program (IP) (born 2014, 2015) - $475
U8 - Minor Novice (born 2013) and U9 - Novice (born 2012) - $625
U11 - Atom (born 2010 or 2011), U13 - Peewee (born 2008 or 2009), U15 - Bantam (born 2006 or 2007), U18 - Midget (born 2005, 2004, or 2003) - $675
Tryout Fee - $70.00
Rep/AE Fee - $150.00

**These fees are tentative.  We are not collecting fees until we have a solid understanding of what we can offer and the fees may be adjusted if we can not offer a full season.**

To complete the online registration process, click on the link at the bottom of this page which will take you to the EMHA Online Registration page on the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) website and follow the instructions there.  Most families will need to create an account in HCR and once you do you will be able to access your players profile by using their name and birthdate.  In order to complete your registration you will need to select a method of payment (you will be able to change your method of payment when we begin collecting registration fees) and go through the checkout process; however, this will not involve an actual payment.  We are not accepting payments at this time.

  • All new registrants must send a copy of the player’s birth certificate and a copy of a parent’s driver’s license to [email protected] .  Your registration is not complete until the registrar has received both documents.
  • All current members who have moved within the last season must provide a copy of a parent’s driver’s license.
  • If you are new to the area and your child has played previously for a different association, you will need to fill out an OMHA Residential Move Form
Online registration will close on Saturday, July 11th, 2020.  Players not registered by this date will be placed on a waiting list until division numbers are finalized.

Volunteering:
During the 2020-2021 season, each EMHA family will be required to complete volunteer hours which will be approximately 6-10 hours.  Due to the uncertainty of things at this time, we do not have a list of available volunteer options, but the volunteer manager will be in contact with you in the fall.  Families will still be required to provide a bond payment of $200.  If you would prefer not to volunteer you have the option of buying out for $200.

Fundraising:
This season EMHA is continuing with their Fundraiser Calendar worth $10 000 of prizes.  For the months of January, February and March of 2021 calendar owners will have the opportunity to win a share of the $10 000.  Each family will be required to purchase 5 $20 calendars.

Financial Assistance:
Subsidy for hockey fees may be available through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program, the YMCA Healthstart Program or local Service Clubs.  It is your responsibility to apply to these programs and to inform the registrar of your intent to do so and of acceptance.
