Port Perry Predators Claim Title.......
Congratulations to the Port Perry Predators Peewee AE team on their Championship weekend.
The Predators were matched up against a tough Oro Thunder team who moved into the Championship game with a convincing 4-1 Semi Final victory over the Listowel Cylcones. Port Perry needed overtime to advance in their Semi Final winning 1-0 against a stingy Twin Centre Stars team who had chances but was unable to beat the Predators goalie.
The Home Town Coyotes had a nice 7-3 victory on Saturday afternoon but were unable to earn enough points to move into the Semi Finals.
Both finalists played hard and gave it their all during their 5th game of the weekend. In the end, Port Perry was able to put it all together with a complete game and take the title. Congratulations to both teams!
