Elmvale AE Tournament, 2012-2013 (Elmvale Minor Hockey)

After all the shooting, passing, and skate real fast'ing the EMHA Atom AE Tournament is down to 4 excellent teams. Tavistock upended North Muskoka 2-0 in a great semi final. That win puts them up against league rival and undefeated Twin Centre. Twin Centre narrowly squeaked by South Muskoka 2-1 in their quarter final match up.

After 2 days of intense competition the Atom AE field has been parsed to the final 8. Tavistock, North Muskoka, Twin Centre, South Muskoka, Oro, Lincoln, Midland, and the host Elmvale Coyotes still have a chance to take home the championship.  Winner moves on, in this single elimination portion of the tournament.

60+ kids participated in front of a packed house on Friday evening in the Atom AE skills competition. The kids were all extremely talented and put on a great show for those in attendance. Many thanks to Kent Fay of Diamond Head Sprinklers fame, along with Al & Cam Scott for their moderation of the festivities.

After Day #1 Midland dominates the leader board after putting up 16 goals in their opening game.

Well Day #1 is in the books and Oro and Twin Centre earned 2 wins each and are on the verge of locking their spots in the Qtr Finals.
