Is Your Mouthguard Keeping You Sick?
Submitted By Ronda Murphy on Friday, January 11, 2013
Is your child's mouthguard contributing to them being sick?  We all know mouthguard's are a necessity in hockey, but we need to ensure we are disinfecting them regularly. How many people have been sick this season??  Many Coyotes I am sure.

Plastic is extremely porous and will harbour bacteria and viruses, which proliferate and can reinfect our bodies with bacteria.

I have ordered small convenient travel size disinfecting sprays, made specifically for mouthguards. They are in a leak proof container and meant to be kept in the hockey bags.  They are easy to use... just spray your mouthguard and case after each use and throw back in the hockey bag. No more forgetting to clean your mouthguard. The cost is $10.00 if anyone would like to purchase one of the spray kits.
