Disclaimer (from MBSportsWeb, the website vendor)
It’s a “live feed” but not entirely live depending on what email program or calendar you link to. The most reliable one is Outlook that updates about every 3 hours. Doing a manual Send/Receive in Outlook will sometimes grab the immediate changes but not always. Google Calendar usually only updates their feeds every 24 hours (or more).

You should always check the website for the latest schedule prior to departing for a game or practice. There are literally thousands of software applications, website services, and devices which could potentially be used to import the calendar feed. It is impossible for us to test each of these scenarios, and it is also impossible for us to guarantee that your scenario will work as expected.  We will only test that our feed works in the most common environments.

The Details for DOWNLOADING and syncing a SCHEDULE:

Would you like to be able to import your team(s) schedules into your other calendars, and automatically sync when those schedules change?  Now you can!  This website provides a Live Calendar "Feed" which allows programs like Microsoft Outlook®, services like Google Calendar™, or devices like the Apple iPhone™ to import and combine with your other calendars.  Because it's a "feed" and not a "file" (which you can also export from this site), information changed on the site will automatically update in your other calendar(s).

Microsoft Outlook® Users: Internet Calendar feeds are only supported in version 2007 or later.  The calendars will be updated each time Outlook® performs a Send & Receive, which typically happens automatically every 30 minutes (but can also happen on-demand).  The live calendar feed from this website has been set to update no more frequently than every 20 minutes, however.

Google Calendar™ Users: For several years, many users of Google Calendar have reported that calendar feeds only update once per day, and there is no option to allow the user to update more frequently (or on-demand).  Because of this, changes made to the schedule on the website may take at least one day before being updated in your Google Calendar.

BlackBerry® Users: Unfortunately RIM has decided not to support "over-the-air" calendar feeds in their devices.  However, if your BlackBerry® is connected to your work calendar using Enterprise Server, you should be able to import the calendar feed into your desktop calendar (such as Outlook®) and have those changes pushed to your device.

Final Disclaimer: There are literally thousands of software applications, website services, and devices which could potentially be used to import the calendar feed. It is impossible for us to test each of these scenarios, and it is also impossible for us to guarantee that your scenario will work as expected.  You should always check the website for the latest schedule prior to departing.  We will only test that our feed works in the most common environments.

Instructions

We will provide some basic instructions for using the calendar feed from this website for some of the most common scenarios, including Microsoft Outlook® 2007 & 2010, Apple iPhone™, and Google Calendar™.  For more detailed instructions than those provided here (or for instructions about a different scenario), consult the documentation for your program / device, or search the web for "Import Calendar Feed Into [Insert Your Program / Device Here]".

In general, this is a two-step process:

  1. Get the address to the calendar feed.
  2. Follow instructions specific to your program or device for using the feed.

Step 1: Get The Address to the Calendar Feed

This website has a single address which is used to generate the calendar feed, and that address needs to have some incoming parameters which tells the feed what team(s) schedules to return. The basic format for this address is webcal://(your domain name)/webcal.ashx?IDs=(one or more team IDs).

Each team in the site has an ID which you can see in the address (URL) when you navigate to that team's site. So if you know the ID(s) of the team(s) you want to create the calendar feed for, you can manually type them into the feed's address. However, to make it easier to configure the feed's address, Click here to open a special page for doing so (opens in a new window).

Step 2: Import the Feed into your Calendar

Once you have your customized address to the calendar feed, you can import it into your calendar. Basic instructions for some of the more popular calendars are as follows:
