Awards Night
Submitted By Angela Birch on Thursday, September 3, 2020
The Flos Agriculture Society has graciously allowed EMHA to host our 2019-2020 Awards night at the Elmvale Ball Park (Behind the arena). In working with Springwater Township we have come up with a plan which will allow us to host our annual event in safe environment.

The following protocols will be in place for the evening’s events:

-Only one family member can attend per player. Please note that siblings are not
permitted. If a sibling is at a different time slot they will need to come back at
their allotted time.

-Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled ceremony. There will be a table
set up under the pavilion where you will need to sign both parent and player in.
Please follow social distancing protocols and line up 6 feet apart.

-Once you sign in you will proceed through the first base gate directly to the area
where you team’s sign is posted. There will be a table set up with hand sanitizer
on it. Each individual team will have to follow social distancing rules and will need
to sit 6 feet apart.

-Our president will address the players and read out the list of award winners.
The coach will have the awards on the teams table and will hand them out once
the winners name is called. There will be no handshakes given but the parent
can take a picture. Once they receive the award they are to sit back down.

-Following the ceremony each team will be given direction on when to exit the
ball park. You will exit through the third base gate.

-Once the ceremony is over we ask that you leave the ball park immediately as
we need prepare for the next group of people.

-There will be no food or drink.

-Rain date will be the week following. If it’s cancelled due to weather it will be
posted on social media and on our website at www.elmvaleminorhockey.com
