A great year for the U9's.
The Elmvale Coyotes U9LL2 team has a lot to celebrate this season. After honing their skills on half ice for the first portion of the season, the team hit full ice ready to win. And win they did! The team finished the season with an impressive 14-2-1 record.
This dominant record came thanks to the grit and determination of Blake Sickle (#11) and Colby Dobson (#12), the defensive play of Sawyer Trace (#2), Mason MaGee (#3), Jace Strong (#7), and Lincoln Lougheed (#9), the scoring prowess of Tyler Nauffts (#5), Owen Maxwell (#8), Logan Phillips (#14), Brooklyn Sharpe (#15), and Easton McGill (#17), and the consistency of Marshall Bates (#4) between the pipes. Together, the team won the Coyote Cup and the Danny Wood Memorial Tournaments. The team was also the proud home of the leading scorer in the Georgian Bay Triangle.
The players would like to not only thank their parents for supporting them, but also the siblings who came to cheer them on every week: Madi, Ethan, Lexus, Chase, Carter, Olivia, and Harper.
Of course all of the progress and wins would not have been possible without the dedication of our amazing coaching staff: Scott McGill (Head Coach), Bruce Timleck (Assistant Coach), Tiffany Maxwell (Trainer), Shane Sharpe (Trainer), and Jesse Lougheed.
