Steelers Restaurant U13 LL1 Bring Home Silver at Local Orr Lake Hockey Tournament
Elmvale Coyotes U13 LL1 had a very successful weekend at
their home hockey tournament.
The team started strong with a 4-4 tie against Barrie, followed by a solid 2-0 win over Honeywood. They then triumphed 3-2 over Midland to advance to the semifinals, where they secured a thrilling 2-1 victory against Penetang in sudden-death overtime and shootouts.
In the final, the team faced a tough New Hamburg squad and, despite a valiant effort, fell 1-0. The team showed incredible resilience and teamwork, with strong goaltending playing a key role in their success through out the weekend. Congratulations to all the players for a great tournament and a well-earned silver medal!
