The Elmvale Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce that coaching applications are now open for all Representative teams for the upcoming season, including B, B2, and BB levels.
2026/2027 Coach Application
Our coaches play a vital role in shaping not only hockey players, but strong teammates, leaders, and members of our community. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about player development, committed to creating a positive team environment, and excited to help athletes grow both on and off the ice.
Whether you are a returning coach or interested in getting involved for the first time, we encourage you to apply and be part of another great season of Coyotes hockey.
Applications for Local League teams will open shortly, with more information to be shared soon. To apply for a Representative team position (B, B2, BB), please complete the coaching application form using the link provided.

Application Phase
February 1 – February 28
EMHA Coach Application opens for MD and Rep B Head Coaches
Applications accepted through EMHA’s published application process
Application Review & Executive Approval
March 1 – March 15
EMHA Executive conducts an initial review of all applications
Executive approves a pool of eligible candidates based on submitted applications
Approved applications are forwarded to the Coach Selection Committee for further review and evaluation
Pre-Interview Task
March 15-22
Approved applicants will be required to submit task before interview
Interviews
March 26 – March 31
Interviews conducted for shortlisted candidates
Coach Announcement
March 28 – April 2
Successful Head Coach applicants notified
EMHA publicly announces approved Head Coaches
Tryout, Seasonal Plan & Budget Review
April 3 – April 24
Head Coaches submit:
o Player Evaluation (Tryout) Plan
o Seasonal Plan
o Preliminary Team Budget
