Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Promote Downtown Hockeyville and Earn Volunteer Hours

Dear EMHA members,
I hope this message finds you well. As we gear up for our upcoming hockey tournaments, we're excited to introduce our Downtown Hockeyville initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our vibrant community and support our local businesses during the tournaments.
To make this initiative a success, we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can spare a morning or afternoon to visit stores in our downtown area. Your task would be to deliver information about our tournaments and chat with store owners to see if they'd like to be a part of our exciting event.
Here's an additional incentive: These volunteer hours will count towards your total volunteer hours. To meet the EMHA requirements, volunteers need to complete 10 hours, which makes this a great way to give back to the community while earning valuable hours.

If you have some free time to help us out, your support would be greatly appreciated. We are planning to start on Friday, September 22nd, with a follow-up visit on the following Friday to collect sheets.
Here are some key details:
- Meeting Time: We will gather at 10 AM at the BIA park. During this brief meeting, we'll provide you with all the necessary information, including a sheet with store details and directions, and divide into groups to cover more stores efficiently.
- Shifts: We can organize two separate shifts if necessary to accommodate different schedules.
- Tracking: You'll receive a tracking sheet to keep a record of the stores you've visited and the information you've delivered.
Your participation will play a crucial role in making Downtown Hockeyville a success, supporting our local businesses, and contributing to your volunteer hours. If you're available and interested in lending a helping hand, please let me know your preferred time and shift.
