The Elmvale Coyotes Steelers U13 LL2 team put together an impressive run at the Orr Lake Golf Hockey Tournament, showcasing strong teamwork and determination throughout the weekend.
The Coyotes opened the tournament with a solid 3–1 victory over Centre Wellington, setting the tone with
disciplined play and strong defense. They carried that momentum into their second game, dominating the TNT
Tornados with a convincing 7–2 win. Elmvale continued to roll in round-robin action, shutting out the
TCDMHA Rebels 4–0 in their third game.
Advancing to the semifinals, the Coyotes faced a tough opponent from Goderich in a tightly contested matchup.
After battling through regulation and overtime, Elmvale fell in a shootout, bringing their tournament run to a
hard-fought end.
Despite the semifinal loss, the Coyotes can be proud of their performance, finishing the tournament with three
strong wins and demonstrating growth, resilience, and competitive spirit on the ice.
