Novice Rep, U9, 2013-2014 (Elmvale Minor Hockey)

The Novice Rep Coyotes returned home to the snowy and cold north after a 3 day trip to St Clair Shores Michigan.  There they competed in the International Silver Stick Finals. Unfortunately the Coyotes were unable to make the playoff round going a disappointing 1-2 in the Round Robin portion of the tournament.

Since the McNamara Novice Rep Coyotes qualified for the Silver Stick finals they finished off their final 7 games of the regular season with 5 wins and 2 losses. Losses to Oro, and Collingwood, and victories over Penetang(3), Owen Sound, and Oro completed the Georgian Bay Schedule for the Novices.

The Novice Rep Coyotes bested the competition this weekend at the Wasaga Beach Regional Silver Stick Qualifier.  With the win the Coyotes will now need to make sure their passports haven't expired as they prepare themselves for the International Silver Stick Finals which will take place Jan 24-26, in St Clair Shores, Michigan.

After a 7-0 start to the regular season the Novice Rep Coyotes quickly became the team to beat as they enjoyed their perch atop the Georgian Bay League Standings. Unfortunately for them the last stretch of games hasn't been so kind.

The Novice Rep Coyotes traveled to Hunstville to compete in their 1st tournament of the year. Although playing well throughout the Round Robin portion of the tournament and recording a 2-1 record, the Coyotes did not do enough to earn a spot in the Semi Finals on Sunday.
