The whirlwind season for the Bantam Rep Coyotes came to a close Sunday night with a 3-0 victory over the Georgian Shores Lightning to capture the Georgian Bay Cons. Championship and cap off a 6-0-1 run to finish the season.

In a season riddled with ups and downs, hot streaks and cold streaks, successes and disappointments, the Hapamp Bantam Rep Elmvale Coyotes entered the final tournament of 2012 with one goal! Win the Silver Stick tournament and kick off the New Year on a high note!
We knew this would be no easy task as we entered a tournament pool with some very tough competition. Entering the Silver Stick tournament, the Coyotes were on somewhat of a hot streak and an upswing in the season, winning the 3 previous games before the Christmas break.

There’s no denying this hockey season has been a whirlwind thus far for the boys of the Elmvale ‘Hapamp’ Bantam Rep Coyotes. An emotional rollercoaster filled with highs, lows, and everything in between. Since winning their opening tournament in Port Dover, and improving to a record of 8-2-0 while doing so, the team had hit a bit of a midseason slump consisting of a slew of ties and tough losses! Things seemed to be on the upswing once again when the boys battled to a semi-final shootout loss in the Brian English Memorial tournament in our hometown of Elmvale. It was a very well-run tournament, filled with great hockey and tough battles.
