Tyke 1 Face Another Hot Goalie in Hannah Schutt
On November 9th 2013 The Elmvale Home Building Center Tyke #1 took on the Tim Horton's Tyke #3 and faced another hot goalie in Hannah Schutt.
Caleb Dorion opened the scoring for the Elmvale Home Building Center but the Tim Horton's Tyke 3 responded with Cole Klein Gebbinck netting two and Josh Pickering with one putting them up 3-1 at the end of the first.
Kleingebbink scored another three in the second for the Tim Horton's Tyke 3. Jacob Holt responded with a beauty for the Elmvale Home Building Center with less then 3 minutes remaining. Holt streaked in on a breakaway but was stopped by Hannah Schutt. Persistence paid off as he fell to the ice and continued to battle for the puck eventually knocking it past Schutt.
The Elmvale Home Building Center tried fighting their way back into the game with a barrrage of shots with Dorion and Holt each putting another one by Schutt closing the gap. The Elmvale Home Building Center Tyke 1 continued trying to fight their way back into this game but the goaltending of Schutt proved to be too much in the end as she made phenomenal save after save to keep her team in the game. Josh Pickering ended the game scoring with seconds left in the third ending the game with the Tim Horton's Tyke 3 taking it with a score of 7-4.
