Game #2 Did Not Disappoint
On January 18th, the Elmvale Home Building Center Tyke #1 took on the Elmvale Legion Tyke #2 in game #2 of 2.  Game #1 had ended up in a tie and the tone was set for game #2 and for the fans in attendance it was an exciting one.

Caleb Dorion got the scoring started for the Elmvale Home Building Center.  Carter Laurin netted his first for the Elmvale Home Building Center putting his team up by two.  Quinton Shaw put his team up on the board and his brother Tyler Shaw let one of his rockets go to tie the game up.  Dorion added another one for his team with assist going to Evan Mino and Braeden Begley.  Mino added one of his own to put his team up by two before the end of the frame. Dorion and Leighton Therrien assisted Mino's goal.

The second started with the Elmvale Home Building Center not letting up on the gas.  Laurin scored two more times in the second and Dorion also added another one.  Tyler Shaw added another one for the Elmvale Legion Tyke #2 before the end of the period.  The Elmvale Home Building Center went into the third leading by a score of 7-3.

Thinking they had a comfortable lead the Elmvale Home Building Center thought that they could take their foot off of the pedal and the Elmvale Legion Tyke #2 started fighting their way back.  Ethan Palmer started the scoring only 12 seconds into the third.  Tyler Shaw then scored two quick ones with assist going to Palmer and their goalie Cameron Dupuis.  William Veenstra would have nothing to do with the Elmvale Legion Tyke #2 mounting a comeback taking matters into his own hands with the TSN turning point.  Tyler Shaw came down on a break-away and let one of his rockets go but Veenstra threw out the leather and stoned him with a great glove save.  The glove save seemed to wake up his team.  Dorion then scored three goals in a row to put his back up by four.

The Elmvale Legion Tyke #2 tried mounting another comeback scoring another two goals then by pulling their goalie, adding the extra attacker. But it wasn't enough as Laurin stole the puck and broke in on a break away and scoring his 4th of the game into the open net.  In the end, the Elmvale Home Building Center won their second game of the season by a score of 11-8.
