The Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup program wants to inspire young Canadians to be better citizens by promoting the positive values learned through hockey.  The cup is awarded to the hockey team that performs the most impressive good deed in their community.

Another Good Deeds Cup means another year of searching for the Peewee hockey team making the biggest impact in their communities through their good deeds. Winners receive a donation to the charity of their choice, a winner’s ceremony in their town, a television feature on their good deed, and a summer skate with a Chevrolet Hockey Ambassador.

Last year, more than 100 teams across the country participated in the contest before The Pas Huskies were voted national winners for their work helping to feed the homeless at Oscar’s Place, a homeless shelter in their hometown.
