The Brian English Memorial Tournament is held each year by the Elmvale Minor Hockey Association, and has become one of the premier events for C-BB centres. Brian English was a local referee who, in 2002, was taken from us way too early. The EMHA, and our community continues to support the Brian English Foundation, and their efforts to help the communities that Brian was a part of. Tournament Format
- Two pools of 4 in each age category (8 teams total per age category)
- Each team guaranteed 3 round robin games
- Top 2 teams from each pool move onto the single elimination championship round
- Skills Competition Friday Night
- Entry Fee is $800
- There will be medals/trophies/awards for the champions, finalists, and skills competition
- Games are played during the day on Friday using both Elmvale & Wasaga Beach arenas. Saturday & Sunday games are all played out of Elmvale.
