Hapamp Bantam Rep Win on the Road
On Sunday Oct 20th the Hapamp Bantam Rep Coyotes were on the road for the first time to take on the nearby Wasaga Stars. Early in the game the Elmvale Coyotes were quick to take the lead when Derek Sweeney grabbed a loose puck and fired it by the Stars goaltender. Later in the same shift Derek Sweeney would score his second on a rebound from a shot by Jordan Agar with an added assist going to Charlie Flieger.

Midway through the first Agar would put the Coyotes up 3-0 on a rebound from Aidan McKinstry with Derek Sweeney adding an assist. With time winding down in the first period Brock KleinGebbinck backhanded a loose puck into the net with assists going to Nevin King and Andrew Priest. The Coyotes continued to carry the play in the second and it wasn’t until late in the period that their hard work would once again be rewarded when Matt Clarke would score from Derek Sweeney and Agar making the score after 2 5-0. The Wasaga team battled hard but early into the third Colin Kitching would take advantage of a Stars turnover a blasted a shot over the shoulder of the Wasaga netminder. Late in the game Kitching would start off a great passing play giving the puck to Owen King who fed Alex Sweeney, increasing the Coyote lead to 7.
