Hapamp Bantam Rep Coyotes take on the Wolves
The Hapamp Bantam Rep Coyotes were at home to face the Shelburne Wolves on Tuesday Oct 29th.  Coming off a weekend tournament and an early Monday morning skate the Coyotes would have to get through the tough Wolves team before enjoying some time off.  It didn’t take long for the Elmvale team to get on the scoreboard when midway into the first period Owen King would bank a shot into the opposing net off the Shelburne netminder with assists going to Andrew Priest and Colin Kitching. Before the period was over Nevin King would make it 2-0 after winning a faceoff and scoring on a wraparound play.

The second period saw the Coyotes lead extended to 3-0 when Priest would find the back of the net assisted by Derek Sweeney and Brock KleinGebbinck.  The Hapamp Bantam Rep team would take this 3-0 lead into the 3rd period.  Late in the 3rd period Charlie Flieger would intercept a Wolves pass and feed it to Tye King who found a wide open Nevin King who made no mistake in notching his second of the game putting the Coyotes up by a score of 4-0.  The Elmvale team would take advantage of a late power play when Jordan Agar scored from Derek Sweeney and Matt Clarke.  Final score would be 5-0 for the home team. Elmvale netminder Kaidan Maw had to make several tough saves including 2 breakaways to earn his 4th shutout of the young season.  The Hapamp Bantam Rep Coyotes will travel to Huntsville to take on the Otters on Friday Nov 1st at 7 p.m. where they will be looking to improve on their 11-1-2 record.
