On Saturday, Jan 19th. the Elmvale Home Building Centre Bantam AE team traveled to Midland
to take on the Centennials in OMHA playdown action. The Elmvale Coyotes
were up 2 games to 0 in this 3 out of 5 series and looking for the sweep.
The Coyotes soon realized that a series sweep was not going to be as easy as
they anticipated and just 2 minutes into game 3 found themselves down
1-0. By the 8 minute mark a well prepared Midland Centennial team
increased the lead to 3-0.

On Jan. 12th, the Elmvale Home Building Centre Bantam AE Team opened
up their OMHA playoffs against their rivals, the Midland Centennials. These two teams have played several close games all year and this being
the first playoff game, another fierce battle was to be expected.
Midway through the first period, Aidan McKinstry opened the scoring by
firing a loose puck past the Midland netminder, with the assist going to
Nathaniel Charman.

On Tuesday, December 18th, the Elmvale Home Building Centre Bantam AE Team were at home
to take on the Essa Eagles. Looking to improve on their home record of 3-2-3, the Coyotes came out in the first period focused and determined. Early in the
period, Josh Tapscott put Elmvale up 1-0 with assists going to Jason Flury and
Landon McGinnis.
After killing off a couple of penalties the Coyotes found
themselves with a powerplay and Thomas Maw was able to capitalize, assisted by
Charlie Flieger and Tapscott. The end of the first had the Coyotes up 2-0.
