Legion Tyke #1 Silences Thunder
Sunday morning the Legion Tyke #1 squad took to the road for the 1st time, and came home sporting a 2-0 record after a convincing win over the Oro Thunder #2 team.
Unfortunately the gamesheet never made it back to us after the game, so I'm unsure on the particulars of the game including the final score.
What I do know is that Nikolas, fresh off a Hat Trick in game #1, put up a wall in net and blanked the Thunder for his and the team's 1st shut out of the year. Jackson played a spirited right wing, picked up a couple breakaway's and scored his 1st goal ever as a Tyke as he hammered home a rebound from the slot. That shot earned him the 'Super Sport' Player of the game award. Benjamin, Ty, and Tyler all had multiple goal games as well.
The team takes the week off in preparation for a back to back weekend as they will host Coldwater on Sat Dec 15 @ 1:10, and then on Sunday (@ 2:25) Legion Tyke #1 will be welcoming Tyke #3 in our 1st Coyote v Coyote matchup. Should be a great weekend.
