Tyke 1, 2012-2013 (Elmvale Minor Hockey)

On Saturday the Legion Tyke #1 team traveled to Wasaga Beach to participate in their final tournament (and final games) of the season.  Tyke #1 would come out on top with wins over Flesherton, Dundalk, and Wasaga, capturing their 2nd Tournament Title this season. It was not without drama as these Coyotes continue to push the envelope as it relates to late game heroics.

Tyke #1 finished their 14 game regular season on Saturday with a thrilling come from behind victory over Tyke #4.  The Tyke #1 Coyotes amassed an impressive 13-1 record throughout the season, with their only loss coming at the hands of rival Tyke #2.

After a full week off of game action after the Simcoe Tournament, Tyke #1 was back on the ice on Sunday as they welcomed Oro #2 to the Coyote Den.  Armed with a commitment to positional play, and sharing the puck Tyke #1 was able to walk away with a 9-2 win, with 7 different players lighting the lamp.

This past weekend Tyke #1 (sponsored by the Elmvale Legion) traveled to Simcoe to participate in their Lions Tyke Tournament.  When all the dust settled, Elmvale captured the championship with a thrilling 5-4 come from behind overtime victory.

Tyke #1 (Sponsored by the Elmvale Legion) beat Oro #3 5-2 Saturday morning, as they ran their record to an impressive 10-0.  This win leads them nicely into next weekend where they will travel to Simcoe, ON for their 1st tournament of the year.
